Works Fine on the D90

Guess everyone else got lemons or there is some incompatibility with some Nikon DSLR's, but it works great on my D90 - got about 800 shots on the first charge - and that was using a lot of power with the camera's functions. I do have 2 other genuine Nikon Batteries as back-ups and I rotate the 3 of them. So, no complaints here! UPDATE: I did notice that my BP-EL3E (from Sakar/Digital Concepts) was a higher capacity than the one shown here at 7.4V 2100 mAh (as opposed to the 1900 mAh on the one shown here). Maybe that's the reason it works fine on my D90!

I am sorry that everyone else had a bad experience, but I've had this battery for a while now and I have never had a problem with it. I guess its only designed for the lower end Nikon DSLRs. If you have a D80 this will work great!
Not for the D300

Although the battery is designed to duplicate the EN-EL3E used in D200 and D300 cameras my experience is that it will not work with the new D300 camera.

This battery is a complete heap of junk. I would actually go so far as to say it is fraudulently being sold as a Nikon Replacement Battery which it clearly isn't. I bought this battery for my Nikon D90 and even after multiple charges all it shows when inserted in the camera is a flat battery sign. A voltmeter across the terminals shows it produces the correct voltage so I assume it is just lacking any of the intelligence and monitoring circuits of the authentic battery.
Save yourself the trouble and do NOT purchase this junk and instead get a genuine battery so at least you will know it works.
I just have to hope Amazon will take mine back seeing as I threw out the packaging - I naively assumed that it would just work.
Utter junk and I think Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for selling such a dishonest and clearly defective product.

I give this product a 1 only because it will not allow me to give it a zero.
I purchased one of these batteries for my Nikon D300 and the battery would not work, so i figured it was just a dud... When the replcement arrived, it would not work either. I tried them in the camera and also in the MB-D10 potrait grip position. Neither battery functioned. I ordered a genuine NIKON, and not more problems. I contacted Digital Concepts about this issue and they just blew me off.
D300 OWNERS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THESE. just buy Nikon and you'll be much less frustrated.
