As a clamp for a portable digital recorder (zoom H4n or H2), this is a great thing to carry in your trick bag to a gig. I use it almost every day.

good and sturdy, would rather have more than one tightning mechanism on the pivot points
but for what it does it is very functional.

Very cheaply made. Arrived in a plasitc bag and in pieces and had to be snapped together. A waste of money. I would not trust my expensive camera on this. The concept is good, just poorly executed.
