I bought their warranty as I had a bought a new to the market digital camera on ebay, and after 2 yrs and 8 months of a 3yr waranty I thought it was a lost cause, when my camera failed on vacation in China, and I had to buy another while away, ( which got stolen before I could insure it....go figure). But I contacted Square Trade on my return and to my amazement they not only responded, but sent me a UPS return label for it...... AND 2 weeks later, repaid the FULL purchase price into my PayPal account.... I was IMPRESSED to say the least!!!! I have since insured my new camera, and my laptop with them, and will also have them cover my soon to be purchased IPhone too...and am a CONFIRMED beliver in SQUARE TRADE... and all my friends know it soooo, JUST DO IT....NOW!!!!

I just received a generous monetary refund for my daughter's 2 year old Kodak digital camera which was not repairable. It was enough to buy a replacement camera AND and buy another 3 year Square Trade warranty! I previously had another digital camera that Square Trade quickly repaired twice over a 2 year period with no question or hassle. They even provided the free UPS shipping label! These days, it's refreshing to deal with a company that "means what they say". I'm totally impressed. In fact, I just bought my 4th warranty from Square Trade yesterday.

Everyone in our family got a new point-and-shoot camera for Christmas last year. Having read many reviews we had a pretty good idea that at least one of them would die an early death, so we bought SquareTrade warranties for them all. Most of today's electronics, sadly, seem designed to fail. SquareTrade was new to our family, so when my wife's four month old Fujifilm Z30 died I was curious to see how their system worked in practice. I expected for them to cook up some reason why the warranty wasn't valid or an excuse why they would not honor it. Instead, within minutes of filing my claim I received an email with instructions as to how to proceed and a prepaid UPS label for shipping the camera to SquareTrade. I dropped the package at the UPS Store the next day and within a week had received emails letting me know that they had gotten my camera, had inspected my camera and found that the problem was covered by the warranty, then a third email to let me know that the total purchase price had been deposited into my Paypal account. It was simple and painless. I ordered my bride a new camera yesterday and it's on its way. Without question, the new camera will also be covered by a SquareTrade warranty as soon as it arrives.
